Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival, your guide will pick you up and you will immediately start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will enjoy many scenic views as you travel. You will have a stopover at the Equator for some photos and experiments, have lunch in Mbarara, proceed to the park and check in at your lodge. You will relax for the rest of the evening and prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will have an early breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking. The rangers will lead you to start the search for the mountain gorillas. You will also enjoy the flora and fauna of this park. After meeting and spending ample time with these gentle giants, you will go back to the lodge for a late lunch. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening.

Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe
Have an early breakfast before you explore the islands on this lake and enjoy some good views as well as beautiful birds. Immediately after this, you will proceed with your departure back to Kampala, arriving in the late evening. Your guide will either drop you off at any hotel or at the airport to catch your flight.
