Day 1: Flight Transfer from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
Your adventure begins as our Nyumbu Beyond Journeys safari guide picks you up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for a smooth transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch your flight to Murchison Falls National Park. The flight departs at 1:00 pm, soaring over the stunning landscapes of Uganda, and arrives at Bugungu/Pakuba Airstrip at 2:00 pm. As you approach the park, you’ll enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the iconic Murchison Falls.
Upon landing, your guide will warmly welcome you and take you on a brief game drive en route to your lodge. After checking in, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings of the park, soaking in the beauty of your incredible new environment.
Day 2: Morning Game Viewing & Afternoon Boat Cruise
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out for an exciting morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, and a variety of antelope like oribi and bushbuck. After the cruise, embark on a thrilling game drive, followed by a late bush breakfast in the heart of the park, where you’ll savor the fresh morning air and wildlife surroundings.
Once you’ve recharged, return to the lodge for a delicious, hot lunch before heading out to explore the vibrant Snares to Wares” youth anti-poaching program. Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking & Private Sundowner Cruise

Day 5: Full-day Spot Fishing in Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast at 7:00 am, set off for an exciting full-day sport fishing adventure at the base of Murchison Falls. Fish from the riverbanks or by boat, targeting Nile perch, catfish, and even tiger fish. With a boat launch from the jetty point, you’ll access the best fishing spots along the river. Be prepared for the high temperatures and bring sun protection, as well as long pants and insect repellent for those pesky tsetse flies.
In the afternoon, return to the lodge/camp for some relaxation before heading out on a sundowner game drive to end your day in style, enjoying the park’s wildlife as the sun sets.
Day 6: Flight Transfer to Entebbe Airport
Rise and shine at 5:30 am for another exhilarating game drive to spot more of Murchison Falls’ incredible wildlife, including any species you may have missed the day before. After this unforgettable morning adventure, enjoy a relaxing lunch before being transferred to Pakuba/Bugungu Airstrip for your afternoon flight.
