This Kenya safari is the perfect mixture of Kenya’s stunning wilderness and its relaxing coastal beaches. You will have the opportunity to enjoy wildlife and culture, adventure and relaxation, all in one wonderful trip. Your safari starts off in Nairobi, then travels into the remote wilds of the Namunyak Conservancy in Samburu for an authentic wilderness and cultural experience.
From there, you fly to the famous Maasai Mara, the home of big cats and endless savannahs, which is followed by a journey to Amboseli National Park, home to large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Finally, you end your adventure on the soft, white beaches of Diani, where you enjoy a runner-up at the Indian Ocean as you prepare to travel back to Nairobi for your flight home.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi.
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide from Nyumbu Beyond Journeys, who will welcome you to Kenya and transfer you to your luxury hotel in Nairobi. Checking in, you can then relax at the hotel for the remainder of the day. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to enjoy the hotel facilities, such as relaxing at the pool or taking a short walk around the hotel grounds. This evening, your driver-guide will give you a short introduction regarding your safari and what to expect for the following days.
Day 2: Nairobi to Namunyak Conservancy – Sarara Camp.
After breakfast, you board a flight to Namunyak Conservancy, located in northern Kenya and one of the most untouched and quietest wildlife areas in the country. When you arrive at Sarara Camp, you are greeted with drinks and shown to your luxury tent, which overlooks the mountains. Later, you venture out on your first game drive, and you are likely to see elephants, reticulated giraffes, and antelopes and maybe some rarer species like the gerenuk. You watch the day end with a stunning sunset and enjoy dinner outside under the stars.
Day 3: Full Day in Namunyak Conservancy – Sarara Camp.
All day today is dedicated to exploring the conservancy. Your morning game drives take you deeper into the wilderness, where predators and unique bird species roam and wildlife is abundant. You will be taken to see the famous Singing Wells, where the Samburu warriors sing traditional songs while they water their livestock. This cultural experience is special to this area and is one that visitors always remember. In the afternoon, you have the option of a guided walking safari, or you can relax at the camp and watch animals come to the nearby waterhole to drink.
Day 4: Another Day in Namunyak Conservancy – Sarara Camp.
You get to experience another full day of the magic of Northern Kenya. You might choose from a scenic bush walk, a cultural visit to a Samburu homestead, or another game drive for elephants, leopards, and Northern unique wildlife. It is a spectacular landscape of rolling hills and rocky outcrops. After an exhilarating day, your evening ends with a sundowner drink overlooking the wide-open wilderness and a peaceful night in camp.
Day 5: Fly to Maasai Mara – Ilkeliani Camp.
This morning you take a flight to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and take you on a short game drive to Ilkeliani Camp. The reserve is abundant with wildlife and you might see lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes and many more animals as soon as you enter! This afternoon’s game drive allows you to view the endless plains of the Mara, along with the incredible animals and wildlife scenes.
Day 6: Your Full Day at Maasai Mara – Ilkeliani Camp.
Today is a full day spent exploring the Maasai Mara. Your game drive may take you to one of the areas where big cats, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards, are frequently seen. Depending on the season, you may also see thousands of wildebeest crossing the plains during the migration. You will enjoy lunch away from camp while on a picnic in the bush and continue to see other areas of the reserve before returning to camp for dinner.
Day 7: Maasai Mara to Amboseli – Elewana Tortilis Camp.
After breakfast, you will take a morning flight from Maasai Mara to Amboseli National Park. Upon your arrival, you head to Elewana Tortilis Camp, which is one of the finest properties in the area. The park is known for its large elephant herds, and in the afternoon, you will take a game drive and sometimes see animals with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background; their views are one of the best in Africa.
Day 8: Full Day of Amboseli National Park – Elewana Tortilis Camp.
You will spend a full day exploring Amboseli. The swamps attract many animals, including hippos, elephants, buffalos, and many species of birds. Your morning game drive will have unrivaled views of Kilimanjaro while you continue the afternoon to some of the other areas of the park in which you will find predators and grazing animals, including hants. You will return to camp for a relaxing evening and to have dinner.
Day 9: Amboseli to Diani Beach – Diamonds Leisure Beach & Gold Resort.
This morning, you will fly from Amboseli to the coastline of Kenya. When you arrive in Diani Beach, you will be welcomed to your luxury beachfront resort. You have time to settle in and then spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at the beach, swimming in the warm ocean, or using the resort’s amenities.
Day 10: Full Day in Diani Beach—Diamonds Leisure Beach & Gold Resort.
Today is a full day at the beach to relax and enjoy the ocean. You may wish to join some optional activities, including snorkeling, diving, boat rides, or simply relaxing on the soft white sand. Diani is known for its tranquil ambiance and gorgeous turquoise water, and it’s a great way to finish off your trip.
Day 11: Departure—Diani to Nairobi.
After breakfast, you will fly back to Nairobi, where your journey ends. Depending on your itinerary, you will either be dropped at the airport for your international flight or transferred to your hotel.
