Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara (The Fly-In Experience)
The beginning of the trip is marked by both style and efficiency; thus, the shift from the urban life of the capital to the wilderness occurs immediately.
Arrival and Transfer: From your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) you will be driven to Wilson Airport (WIL) for a scheduled domestic flight to the Maasai Mara (around 45 minutes). On the local airstrip, after landing, your professional Soroi Mara guide will be waiting for you in a private, custom-made 4×4 safari vehicle.

The transfer to Soroi Mara Bush Camp works perfectly as your first introductory game drive, thus you immediately commence your wilderness experience. Upon arrival, bask in a refreshing welcome drink and check into your luxurious tented suite. Late afternoon is left for a short, thrilling game drive followed by sunset cocktails in the bush and a gourmet dinner at the camp.
Day 2: Exploring the Maasai Mara (Big Five Tracking).
On the second day the focus is entirely on the vast, rolling plains and the high concentration of animals of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Morning and Afternoon Drives: The morning starts before morning with a coffee and then a full breakfast. After that, the main objective of the morning game drive is the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo), with a particular emphasis on observing predator activity at sunrise. The guide employed by you will use his expert knowledge to locate the movements of the animals in the plains, thus giving you a relaxed, personalized experience without having to rush.
Lunch, usually, is served at the camp allowing for a leisurely midday break, or a picnic can be specially arranged so that the time spent in the park is properly utilized. The afternoon drive takes on the different sectors of the Mara and focusing on the Mara River (depending on the season) and the birdlife as well as the smaller ecosystems. The evening is spent enjoying a Maasai cultural talk or a stargazing session.
Day 3: Full Day in the Mara (Intimacy and Exclusivity)
The third day promises the option to follow that distant migration sighting or participate in non-game-drive activities in the area around.
Customized Activities: It is up to you whether you want to go on a day outing with a packed lunch to follow the Great Migration herds (if they are at the river crossings) or a mixture of specialized activities close to the camp.
Among these may be the guided bush walk (if the camp is in a privately owned area), the visit to the local Maasai village, or the extended morning drive that focuses on you photographing a particular theme (like birds or landscapes). Tonight, the Soroi experience ends with a yummy meal out in the bush a multi-course meal prepared under the stars in a safe, secluded spot, thus creating a fab, romantic memory that will stay with you forever.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Nairobi (Goodbye)
You will have one last chance to have a close-up view of the African bush before leaving it on your final morning (see photo of African bush).
Morning Game Drive:
A morning game drive is one of the best opportunities to find animals, as you never know what you might see (see photo of a lion). After enjoying your final breakfast, you will return to the local airstrip via vehicle for your scheduled return flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport.
When you arrive at Wilson, you will be met by our representative, who will transfer you to either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your international flight departure or to your Nairobi hotel for your pre-booked accommodation.
