DAY 1:Transfer to  Queen Elizabeth National Park

Meet and greet our company representative who assists you with anything you will need for your safari. Embark on a safari route through many hills, picturesque green tea plantations, and beautiful landscapes to Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, you have a stopover at the Equator crossing for photography, shopping, and meals.

Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park located at the base of the massive Rwenzori Mountains. The park provides an abundance of game viewing like; elephants, leopards, bucks, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and others.

DAY. 2 : Chimpanzee trekking & Boat Cruise

Early morning cup of coffee, before heading to the breathtaking Kyambura Gorge for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking adventure. You’ll have the unique opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat, swinging gracefully from tree branches, interacting, and playfully competing for food.

In the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel- a natural channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. View buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, crocodiles, and the highest concentration of hippos plus a variety of water bird species. This will definitely be one of the highlights of your tour.

Optional Activity; Lion Tracking

For visitors who yearn to get up close to wild African fauna, a research trip is a rewarding adventure. This unique experience allows visitors to actively participate in monitoring some of the lions in the park, using locator devices and learning habituation calls, as well as monitoring the weather, surroundings, and behavior of these great cats. The results are added to researchers’ databases, contributing valuable information to the overall understanding of wildlife ecology – and helping to conserve this wonderful ecosystem. This gives you a 95% chance to see the lions!

Lion Tracking

The number of people on each outing is limited in order to reduce stress on the animals and to increase the quality of the experience for visitors.

The experiential tourism activities currently available are; Mongoose Tracking, Hippo Census, and Bird Counts.

DAY. 3 – Departure

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an exhilarating morning game drive through the park. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic Big Five, including buffalos, elephants, and lions, as well as other fascinating mammals such as giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas, and waterbucks. You will proceed to check out of the park and drive back to the starting point of your safari.

Please Note-Accommodation for tonight is not inclusive in the program. This trip can be undertaken by both Road and by Air, however, if you do choose the road option and wish to depart tonight from Entebbe Airport, make sure your flight is at 10 pm or later.
